New Quality Control Linescanner From SoftSolutions

Our linescanner has been installed, up and running since August of 23' at the outfeed of our TCME1 Tempering Furnace Line.

We implemented this equipment to stay ahead of new quality control technology coming into the market place. We have seen great results in the past few months that will continue into the future.

The linescanner will detect scratches, scuffs, dirt, chips, inclusions, skunk, and more. Below is an example of what our operator will review once a bed with a defect, in this case a scratch, exits the furnace. The operator will then reject the defective unit or buff out any shallow scratches or scuffs.
